2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V launched at Rs 1,38,500

- Rs 2,000 more expensive than the Premium variant

- Gets dual-channel ABS and a single-piece seat

- Available in a new colour option

Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2024 edition of the Xtreme 160R 4V in India. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs. 1,38,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which makes it Rs. 2,000 more expensive than the previous top-end variant called Premium. The latest model gets minor cosmetic changes along with additional features.

While the entire bodywork of the 2024 Xtreme remains unchanged, it is available in a new Kevlar Brown colour option. The other two colour schemes including Neon Shooting Star and Stealth Black that were available for the previous iteration have also been retained. The bigger changes come on the feature front.

Enhancing its safety quotient, Hero has incorporated dual-channel ABS and a panic brake alert system. Moreover, it also gets new drag race timer which allows the rider to record the time of their 0-60kmph sprints. Another change comes in the form of the inclusion of a single-piece seat, as opposed to the previous model’s split-type seat. This has been done to increase the pillion comfort.

In terms of engine and cycle parts, the Xtreme 160R 4V is likely to remain unchanged. Powering the bike is a 163.2cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 16.6bhp and 14.6Nm of peak torque while being mated to a five-speed gearbox. It rides on 17-inch wheels that are suspended by USD forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by a single disc at both ends.
